The Public Works Department has 24 full time employees dedicated to improve the quality of life, to protect the environment, and to maintain taxpayer investments of County owned properties through the provision of rural and municipal public water and wastewater services; rural, municipal, and commercial solid waste and recycling services; and the maintenance of County owned buildings and grounds.

There is a flat $2.50 convenience fee added when paying by phone or online for payment amounts up to $85. Any amount over $85 will be charged a convenience fee of 2.95% of the amount being paid.
